BOOKING CHILDREN'S ENTERTAINERS

I've been working constantly as a top end children's entertainer for 15 years since leaving circus school.

In all that time, what bookers want from a children's entertainer has never changed: Reliability, professionalism, attention to detail and above all a real ability to connect in a magical way with the young audience.

In today's world many bookers, especially councils, also require the performer has full public liablity insurance and a CRB check. I of course have both.

But when booking a children's entertainer, what is right for your event? Should you book a children's show, or a walkabout entertainer? Is there a theme to the event you'd like the entertainers to perform with?

It's important for the entertainer to have some rough idea of the expected age range of the children, so they can prepare the best show or material.
